Nestled on the banks of the Wannon River in the heart of Red Gum Country, Cavendish will host the inaugural Red Gum Festival in April 2018.

The event will include something for everyone and will offer affordable and engaging family fun. Featuring a celebration of red gums through art, photography and sculpture competitions, environmental events, live music, food, drinks and children’s activities.

Other highlights include hot air balloon rides, the Red Gum Run and Ramble along picturesque Wannon Rover, a Poet’s breakfast at Settlers Cottage, tours to local significant trees and an environmental forum with prominent guest speakers.

Through a diverse range of activities visitors to the festival will be able to enjoy, explore and learn about this unique local environment.
