The King Valley Balloon Festival will see a mass of hot air balloons floating over this beautiful region on the Queen’s Birthday weekend.

Taking off from Milawa and Whitfield, pilots will take advantage of prevailing winds to guide the balloons over vineyards and between mountain ranges, following the clear, cool King River. The misty mornings of winter make the vision even more magical.
