The Ballarat Beer festival is a family friendly festival filled with Australia’s leading craft beer brewers, a great range of live bands, children’s activities, many gourmet food trucks and craft beer master classes.

Held at the City Oval, craft beer enthusiasts can sample over 150 different styles of beers and ciders from independently Australian owned craft brewers as well as some outstanding regional wines.

The 2017 Ballarat Beer Festival is held on the Saturday, January 21 and is preceded by a degustation dinner on the prior Friday night, which each course matched with beers or a cider, and is hosted by the inimitable Professor Pilsner, Pete Mitcham.
