Crown Melbourne’s much-loved annual Christmas spectacular will be unveiled this Sunday, when Santa and his helpers arrive on a sleigh led by a pack of Samoyed dogs, to officially launch the 2016 Christmas by Crown.

Crown’s Atrium will shine brighter than ever before with a festive display of larger than life decorations, festive face painting and roving entertainers including a Candy Cane Stilts trio.

Magical Christmas scenes will be revealed from within giant baubles including Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer, Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowman and many other Christmas favourites. Crown’s General Manager – Community and Charity, Ann Peacock will lead the festivities as MC.

This year, Crown Melbourne will continue support for the Salvation Army with the installation of a wishing well to raise money for the charity and their choir, who will be joining in the festivities to perform Christmas melodies from the grand staircase.

The 2016 Christmas at Crown spectacular will be open to the public 24 hours a day, every day in the lead-up to Christmas.
