The Mitchelton Bay Cycling Classic is recognised as the fastest criterium series in the world.

Portarlington heat road closures – The circuit is Harding, Newcombe, Fisher Streets and The Esplanade. Roads will be closed to vehicle access. The west bound lane in Newcombe Street will remain open to through traffic. The first event starts at 11.00am and the last event is expected to finish about 4.00pm, so expect street closures for some time before and after.
