The Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival held during the first two weeks in September announces that Spring has arrived.

Gorgeous daffodils welcome visitors to Kyneton to take in the Festival of One Act Plays, the Antique and Vintage Fair, ferret racing, buskers, a Wine and Food Festival at the iconic Degraves Mill, performances and literary events.

In 2016 the introduction of a Dog Dash delighted everyone and created a new exciting fun event for coming years.
Many local gardens open to visitors and the Spring Flower Show presents the signature blooms of the festival.

The Daffodil Old Time Ball attracts dancers from everywhere to dance the night away with excellent music and a fine supper.
The Daffodil Art Prize and Art Photography and arts trail of local galleries displaying the work of artists will satisfy art lovers.

The district is on display in the Grand Parade on the last day of the Festival with bands, dancers, floats, cars and vintage vehicles.
After the Parade the festivities close with a fair, performances and activities in Kyneton’s main streets.
