On Tuesday August 9, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) will conduct the 2016 Census of Population and Housing.
The Census provides a critical data source that informs research and business decisions in the caravanning and camping industry. The Australian Bureau of Statistics Census is highly regarded internationally and provides some of the best statistics in the world.
When Census data is released, the Caravan Industry Association of Australia can report back on it to the industry, helping us to understand consumer trends and changes over time. This enables the industry to develop relevant products and services for our customers.
The Census takes a snapshot of the nation’s people and housing. This information will help shape the future of Australia’s education, health, transport and infrastructure, so it’s important that you have your say.
The online Census is now easier to complete than ever.
