Kick off the festive season with the 70th annual Greater Dandenong Carols in Harmony Square on Friday 15 December, 6.30pm.

It’s official! Santa Claus is coming to Dandenong. Come along to meet the guy in red before he disappears to the North Pole.

Carols in Harmony Square is a free family event and this year the celebration will include exciting performances and interactive activities. Be ready for lots of fun with free family activities and entertainment!

Say hello to all the exciting roving performers, soak in the Christmas spirit and dance and sing along to your favourite Carols.

Mini LED candles will be available from the Dandenong Salvation Army stall for a gold coin donation.

Get there early to grab the best seat or bring your own picnic rug and folding chairs.

Meet our Hosts for the night

Greater Dandenong Carols welcomes a true star of Australian show business and one of the finest tenors in Australia today, Roy Best. Roy shot to fame when he was a finalist in the ABC TVs Operatunity OZ. Since then Roy has gone on to perform roles for Opera Australia, Victorian Opera and is currently the guest soloist with the Australian Pops Orchestra.

Roy will be joined on stage by award winning singer/actress Michelle Fiztmaurice who recently performed in the National Tour of GUYS and DOLLS playing opposite Garry McDonald and Lisa McCune.

The compere for the evening will be versatile performer Christopher McKenna who will MC the evening.

Musically Roy and Michelle will be backed on piano by one of Australia’s Finest David Cameron. David has been Musical Director for Marina Prior and David Hobson for many Years.
