Australia’s premier keelboat regatta dates back to 1844 and the sight of more than 200 boats sailing past the Geelong waterfront is still just as impressive. In 2017, tall ships will be added to the fleet for the Melbourne-Geelong Passage Race that opens the festival. More than 11,000 people attend the festival, with celebrations lining the foreshore.
