The Great Trentham Spudfest is a charming , community-focused, free village festival, in the Central Victoria Highlands, themed around the importance to Trentham of local potatoes, featuring fun, food, music and entertainment.

Locally-focused “Spudly” food, fun and frivolity is planned for this year’s tenth annual celebration of the humble potato on Saturday 6 May, in the beautiful village of Trentham.

In previous years, the “Spud-tainment” was restricted to the Quarry Street Reserve. This year, the festival is boiling over and spreading the Spudly Love to the four corners of town.

The Spud Hub at Quarry Street Reserve will be alive with hot potatoes, hot music and fantastic entertainment for all the family – Spudtastic activities and games for children (and for those adults who are still young-at-heart).

Three other precincts will add to the fun and variety, with activities to suit all ages and stages of life. You can meander around the village on foot, or take a horse and cart ride to view things at a slower pace; explore all four precincts or simply enjoy one or two.

All of this is within an easy, scenic one-hour drive from the Melbourne CBD.
