Gather your family and join us as we celebrate Chinese New Year – the Year of the Rooster.

Chinese New Year is considered the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays and we have chosen to celebrate it with a Lantern Festival, a tradition in China stretching back some 2,000 years.

The festivities will include: Lion teams, Plum Blossom dancers, tea tastings, Chinese calligraphy, biscuit decorating and Joss House Temple tours.

The lanterns on display throughout the evening have been specially decorated by children from the Dr Harry Little Preschool and will look spectacular against the red backdrop of the temple.
