Located within the natural amphitheater of Hanging Rock, the day is a ideal way to recharge your battery with your friends and family after a big New Years Eve.

Racing at the Rock is a unique experience with plenty of thoroughbred racing at the base of the rock, food, wine, big screen on site, activities for the kids and live music, it’s easy to laze the day away under one of the elms lining the track.

Hanging Rock is less than one hours drive from Melbourne CBD, Bendigo and Ballarat or you can catch a VLine train to Woodend Station and be met by a shuttle bus which will take you to and from the track.

Please note that the Liquor Licence does not permit alcohol to be brought on to the racecourse. Beach umbrella’s and shade structures not permitted within the racecourse for safety reasons.
