Join Orchestra Victoria to close out the year with this final concert in the Five on Fridays series.

To capture the festive spirit of the holiday season, Orchestra Victoria’s Acting Concertmaster Roger Jonsson has curated a program of chamber music delights.

Piazzolla’s Winter, based on Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, evokes wild winters in Argentina, while Ralph Vaughn-Williams’ Piano Quintet in C Minor takes us through lyrical English landscapes. Back on local shores, you can celebrate the favourite Australian drama The Doctor Blake Mysteries with its haunting and mysterious theme written by Melbourne-based composer, Dale Cornelius, specially arranged for this performance.

Stay on after the performance for a meet and greet with the musicians and a glass of bubbly or soft drink.
