Scots Day Out will be a day filled with fun.
10am
• Colourful parade down View St to Rosalind Park
Between 11am and 4pm:
• Pipe bands – Bands from across the state will be part of the Victorian Highland Pipe Band Association competition.
• Highland dancers compete for Central Victoria Highland Dancing Classic, a warm-up for the Australian Commonwealth Championships.
• Scottish country dancers from Bendigo and central Victoria will give displays throughout the day.
• Clans will set up tents with displays on Scottish family history.
• Stalls selling Scottish goods and offering haggis and whisky tasting.
• A spectacular finale at 4.30pm featuring Scots Day Out participants
• Folk music groups and singing
• Scottish activities for children and families
