Whittlesea Country Music Festival

The Whittlesea “Country” Music festival has been going for over 15 years. Run by volunteers for the benefit of the local community it offers a vast mix of musical styles as well as talent and busker competitions.
2017 Festival will kick off on Friday 10th February with Buskers in the main street from 2pm to 5pm and then will move onto the Whittlesea Bowls Club for a night of music from 7pm entry is free, but if you would like to have dinner prior to the show please call the Bowling Club to make a reservation for a table on 9716 1966.
Saturday 11th February the street party is taking on a new look with buskers along the main street and Word Weavers reading poetry for your enjoyment along with the animal farm and jumping castle between 10am and 2pm. The street will not be closed and no market stalls in the street, but local shops will be open on the day so please support them.
Twilight Night will commence at 4pm at Walker Reserve with live music from James. Blundell, Wilbur Wilde and Frankie J Holden to name a few. Rides in the carnival corner and food stalls available, so bring a rug, chair or picnic or purchase food from the stalls and enjoy the atmosphere of the night not forgetting the fireworks (weather permitting) later in the evening.
Since its revamp in 2012 the festival has gone from strength to strength providing good quality entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. So come out to Whittlesea “Country” and enjoy all our festival has to offer.
