Two new exciting demand driven promotions for the industry are a core element of an extended three-year partnership signed between Dometic Australia Pty Ltd and Caravan Industry Association of Australia.
Celebrating the quintessential nature of caravanning and its importance to the psyche of Australians, Australia Day will see a major promotion conducted through accredited caravan parks highlighting the #reconnect theme around the BBQ. This will be supplemented with a rolling caravan relay circuiting the country under the ‘Follow the Sun’ branding.
Both promotions are expected to get substantial media coverage for the industry designed to stimulate interest in caravanning and camping product.
Caravan Industry Association of Australia CEO, Stuart Lamont said “driving innovative promotions are an essential function of getting the message of caravanning and camping to the Australian public and these are unable to be achieved without sizeable partners becoming engaged, and we welcome Dometic Australia’s confidence in the National body to deliver such initiatives through their partnership support.”
Further support for research, conference and accreditation also underpin a range of benefits which sees a sizeable increase to Dometic’s financial support for the National body.
“It is important that the National body remains a strong voice for the industry amongst consumers, driving new customers to our industry product, and continuing to grow the market. As the largest supplier to the Australian RV industry, it is important that we understand trends and assist in making the industry stronger and more sustainable into the future”, said Dometic Australia’s Managing Director Brad Slater.
“This investment showcases our commitment to support the growing activities of the national organisation for the benefit of all industry businesses”.
