“We have achieved a 42 per cent increase in incentive travel business secured on last financial year, and the year isn’t even over yet,” said Karen Bolinger, CEO of the Melbourne Convention Bureau.
Upcoming incentive travel programs will attract in excess of 9500 delegates over the next two years.
“Perfect China will be one of the largest incentive travel reward groups in Victoria, and will bring 6000 delegates to our city and regional areas, contributing $33.4 million to the economy,” she said.
Delegates will arrive in stages in June 2017, for a five-day program.
