It is with immense sadness that I advise of the passing of industry legend of the Victorian Caravan Parks Association Jude Golightly of BIG4 Beacon Resort.
Jude is an industry doyen having built the award winning Beacon Resort from bare paddocks at was once a dairy farm on the Bellarine Peninsula at Queenscliff to the very first 5 Star Caravan Park in Victoria. After 45 years BIG4 Beacon Resort continues to be a true family business extending to 3rd generation Golightly family members led by Jude arriving at the office every day until her passing. Jude is survived by Lorraine & Bob, Bruce & Tracey and their families and in a time of great change in our industry, will be sadly missed but fondly remembered and admired. She is now at rest with her beloved Donny.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday 2 April at St Georges Anglican Church Queenscliff 2pm.
