Meet your presenter

Elizabeth Burns, Senior Employment Relations Consultant at Employsure
Elizabeth holds a Master’s Degree in Business Law from Monash University, with a specialisation in Employment Law.

Prior to joining Employsure, Elizabeth worked in Victoria’s health sector in the role of HR Adviser, advising a workforce of over 2,000 full time equivalent staff.

Elizabeth’s experience also includes working as a Workplace Relations Adviser at the Victorian employer’s chamber where she provided specialised advice to employers on day to day management and compliance with employment legislation.

Elizabeth has participated in the development of workplace relations policies for a major public transport provider in Melbourne’s CBD, as well as project work consulting with Victoria’s local councils on the creation of their industry specific Modern Award.

Elizabeth joined Employsure in 2014. She embraces the opportunity to assist clients to navigate their associated obligations under the Modern Award system, advising on ways to implement simplistic solutions and ensure compliancy.
