Just on the fringe of Melbourne, and approximately an hours drive from the capital’s CBD, Warburton is buzzing with tourist activity. Visitors can be found strolling through the Blue Lotus Water Garden – situated on a unique 14-acre display, cycling along the Lilydale to Warburton cycle-rail trail, or visiting the stunning Rainforest Gallery. However, late this February, Warburton will be buzzing with runners from abroad in the annual Up and Running fun run.

Up and Running is a fun run held in the beautiful rural township of Warburton that aims to raise money for the local CFA/SES. The event is a family-friendly affair offering 5 run options including a 2km kids’ run, 5km walk, 5km run, and for those who slightly more serious – a 10km run and a Half Marathon.
